Nearly seven generations of building excellence

For nearly seven generations the Geyer brand has been a valued member of the building industry. From land development and construction projects throughout Southern California, to our family-owned Lumber and Millwork business. The Geyer family has a long history.

Today, the Geyer tradition continues, Geyer Development is hard at work developing new custom residential projects and building beautiful custom homes bringing generations of experience and integrity to every build.

Building a custom home is a big deal and the experience can be stressful if you don't choose the right builder. Most of our customers have never built a custom home and don't know what to expect. Working with someone you trust makes the process more enjoyable and ensures you get the desired result. We take the time to listen to your needs and understand your expectations.

Bigger isn't always better.

Many of the big, high-profile builders in Orange County have built dozens of homes and are typically busy with several projects in production at the same time. This makes it difficult for them to focus their attention on the details of your home that matter to you. We only take on one or two projects at a time and work exclusively in the Newport Beach and Costa Mesa area, which allows us to be much more responsive and spend more time at your project.

We take a hands-on approach to every project.

A lot of builders use sub-contractors for the majority of the work and heavily rely on them for quality control. Not with Geyer! We have a saying here, "People rarely do what you expect unless you plan to inspect." That's why our team members are on site and perform a daily (EOD) "end of day" walk through, looking over each trade being performed and confirming they are following the plans to the letter. This prevents costly and time-consuming delays having to do things over after the fact.
